I am playing catch up on a bunch of blog posts. I was holding out for awhile so that I didn't ruin anyone's Christmas presents. Needless to say over the next few days I will be blogging a lot.
This family was so much fun to photograph. And one of my first large groups to do. I believe there are 18 of them. It was so much fun. And I truly think I love photographing large groups. It was a great session. I We got them all in and just as we where finishing up the skies opened up and it started to pour.
This weeks Challenge was very challenging. I very much had this image in my head. I thought this would be a great idea to use when photographing an engagement or couple session among Christmas trees with lighting over head. I can picture the fun lights reflecting everywhere. How pretty would that be. Some day I will do a session like that. But until then my handsome English Bulldog Baxter modeled for me. As much as I think this didn't come out just how I wanted I really could image all the fun ways to use the prism in the future. It will become a fixture in my camera bag for sure.
The one above you can see the haze it caused over the image
The one below you can see the prism in the corner very interesting.
At the beginning of September I got the wonderful opportunity to photograph some amazing families for our beach mini sessions. Despite the wind and cold it turned out beautiful and fun. I can not wait to do it again next year.
We are currently booking fall mini sessions. If you are interested please check out our Facebook page for more details.
